Strizzi's Restaurant, Livermore, CA

This past Friday night I went out to dinner and a show with some of my girlfriends. We had not made dinner reservations and the original restaurant where we’d planned to dine was jampacked. Luckily, downtown Livermore now has a nice group of restaurants to choose from and we ended up at Strizzi’s Restaurant, 2205 1st Street in Livermore.. The wait staff at Strizzi’s could not have been more friendly and accommodating when we told them we needed seating for seven quickly and to get in and out in about an hour. They quickly seated us in the bar area and let us order from the regular menu. Our waiter was so helpful and accommodating and went out of his way to get us out of there in plenty of time. He even told us that right next store to Strizzi’s is First Street Wines and if you purchase a bottle there and bring it to Strizzi’s they will open it with no corkage fee. So, of course, we went next door and got some great bottles of wine to have with our dinner. Most of us got a mix of appetizers and salads and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Speaking just for myself, I had the fried zuchini’s and a Ceasar Salad and they were both great. Of course we all got the wonderful sour dough bread and oil/balsamic vinegar to munch on and that is always good too! While the restaurant was packed we did not have to wait long for our food and as soon as we asked for the check our waiter got it for us. Overall, a great experience at Strizzi’s in Livermore!
