Saturday night is our normal “go out to dinner” night and this week was no exception. We were in a casual mood and the girls wanted to go out so we ended up at Gay 90’s Pizza, 288 Main Street in Pleasanton. We’ve enjoyed this establishment for many years now and it is one of the few pizza parlors that the whole family can agree on. We ordered two pizzas, one cheese and one Frank’s special (for meat lover's). We also ordered, my favorite, two dinner salads. I know that sounds funny but I love the dinner salads at Gay 90’s, especially with the blue cheese dressing. Our salads and pizza were great and our server was attentive. The pizzas are very large and we had leftovers with two small pizzas. The atmosphere at Gay 90’s is also great, it reminds me of the pizza parlors I went to as a kid. It gets crowded and noisy and has that neat old fashioned look to it. A good pizza and good atmosphere, what more can you ask for in your pizza parlor!
